Sleep

Sunday, July 27, 2008

I am beginning this post at about 3am from a Comfort Inn located in Hudson, Ohio. Why am I awake? I don't really know to tell you the truth, I have had a horrible sleep schedule all summer. I routinely sleep all day, sometimes until three or four o'clock in the afternoon, only to stay up until four, five, seven or eight the next morning. I have seen the sun rise a number of times this summer, and not because I am an early bird. I fell asleep briefly in the car today before being awoken by a slip of my arm from the window, and yet I don't really feel tired at all right now.

I think as a person I prefer the night to daylight, I suspect that I really enjoy the solidarity of it. I am alone and to myself; without any obligations whatsoever. I can comfortably sit in my bed while I watch some of my favorite television shows, play WoW, read articles, and listen to music.
