Ah, world of warcrack. Such a lovely game, I did manage to make it to 60 last weekend, but I am having quite a bit of difficulty getting my epic mount (A faster horse for those of you who don't play). My internet was out for a good part of the weekend which really sucked, but I still managed to come out of it alive. I will say this however, any ISP I have ever dealt with was completely incompetent and had terrible service. Honestly, why does it take 5 days for someone to come out every single time someone is needed. Perhaps they should, I don't know, hire more people? But no, that would mean spending more money - and what would they gain? The internet is an essential part of many people's lives and there is only one high speed ISP in many areas. When there isn't any competition, the customer gets screwed.
I did however, get out of the house for Saturday afternoon. It was my Nana's 80th birthday, and that side of the family went out for a nice dinner. It was nice to see everybody again, especially my uncle Scott. I don't get to see him much, but when I do it's always a treat. I had never really been to a fancy restaurant before, so it was pretty exciting. They took our coats at the door and the waitress knew everything on the menu very well. I ordered a pizza, and it was delicious. It was very thin and the seasonings on it were excellent. For dessert, I had a baked Alaska, which I've never had before. I must say, if you have never had one, you really should. It was perhaps the most delicious dessert I have had in my life; but then again - I haven't had that many nice desserts in my life. I'm really glad that I got to go and I know I'll remember it for a long time.
