Very soon after I created my blog, I decided to open it up in IE to see how it looked. I really didn't like the way that the content box looked nor did I like how the scroll bars looked. It also crashed IE after 30 seconds or so, which was a bit of a problem. Of course, I had just downloaded a template that I liked and put it up. I didn't have the slightest idea of how CSS worked, but I was able to make a few modifications to change the color of links and such. The fact that it crashed IE was really a problem, so I decided that it would be a good idea to code it myself since I really didn't have any idea what was going on. So last night I began learning CSS, and it was remarkably simple. I thought that there would be so much more to it, but it was so simple anyone could learn it relatively quickly. A basic understanding of HTML is needed, but that is pretty easy as well. I used W3Schools to teach myself. It is an awesome website, and I would recomend it to anyone interested in learning CSS or any other language that it provides lessons on. I think I might try out javascript and XML next so that I can get into AJAX.
